Farah Array is a sustainable clothing line for the highly expressive petite woman. Although we officially launched in late 2020, the seed was planted when the founder, Farah Shalwani, was just a teenager. She was tired of being an after-thought for big brands, often shopping in the kids section or hemming her clothes, and that's why she decided to teach herself everything there was to know about fashion design and create something of her own.
Each style has been curated and designed by Farah herself, who incorporates recycled or dead-stock fabrics where possible to embrace sustainability and fight the harsh implications of fast fashion. The collections themselves are all small-batch and will never exceed 40 pieces of a single style. Designed in Austin, and responsibly made in London.
The over-arching goal isn't to turn into a big brand that sells in mass. Instead, we want to continue creating thoughtfully crafted pieces at a much smaller scale; pieces that you can wear for years and years to come. We hope you'll join us in making petites feel more sexy, confident, and heard, while also keeping our precious planet in mind.

Hi there! I'm Farah, the owner and founder of this brand, and a proud Pakistani-American woman (standing tall at 4 ft 11 inches), based out of Austin, TX (hook 'em horns!) Every piece in my collection embodies how I love to dress -- clothes that are colorful, eccentric, even funky that have a personality of their own. Each piece is conceptualized from my head to my sketch book to my sewing machine, and from there I work with some incredible women in London to help bring the vision to full fruition! I'm open to any and all questions you may have, so please give me a shout at email@example.com. I can't wait to hear from you :)
